  3. 1) Well, for a start, if your gonna chew gum, please don't chew liike a cow.
And don't tap dance, because its simply annoying. And well, read the passages carefully, I guess.
    2) I feel totally confident about the Test(s). You really only need common sense...

  7. 1. Give your classmates some test taking tips.
Whenever I take the NYS ELA Exam, I have a couple of strategies. Firstly, I read all the instructions and while I read the passage, I highlight important details. If the passage is particularily difficult, I might summarize or give the main idea for each paragraph. Then, when it's time to answer the questions, I read each answer carefully and eliminate ridiculous choices. Finally I pick the best choice and later on, I'll check it again. Therefore, these are my test taking tips.
    2. How are you feeling about the ELA Exam on Monday and Tuesday?
I feel a little more confident than before, but not too sure of myself. I know that I have learned all my material and worked hard, so I have nothing to worry about.

And Jennifer Wu. o///O How do I intimidate you? Me, of all people. -___-

  8. Oh my goodness. I have to become a Grammar Nazi.

"1) Well, for a start, if your gonna chew gum, please don't chew liike a cow."

What is wrong with you? D:
Your is possessive. You used your incorrectly. You're supposed to use you're, which is short for you are.

  9. 1. I think a good tip for the ELA exam is to cite where you get your information from. In a lot of the example answers in the booklets for the tests we have recently taken, answers with full score would say something like "As said in the article, blah blah blah... and so on."
    2. I feel way to prepared for the ELA exam and i am ready to do well

  10. 1)On the reading comprehension, please try and underline, write the main ideas and things of that sort. It really does help because it helps you understand the story better. Also, when you need to find the answer, looking back and searching the huge reading would be easier because the idea is right there.

On the listening, just write whatever you hear. Its not that you really need to look back anyways. Somehow, for me at least, i remember the majority of the detail. but writing nearly the whole story is a good back up. When writing the essay, read it over and over again.... it helps if you read it to yourself too.

    CHEW GUM and stay calm....

    2) I don't feel well. I would rather have taken it so much earlier. It shucks so bad.... I would have rather been reading my new book...

Have sugarfree gum cauz it will keep you calm, and DO NOT ask me and finish my pack in like 2 secs. Umm... stay calm don't feel paniced because that will distract you and you won't be able 2 think. CHECK your work for the second and third book definately because make sure you don't have general statements. When reading the passages take your time because you want your brain to absorb all that information. You know people who don't read carefully continuously have to keep on looking back and that takes more time because you have to reread. why don't you just read it carefully once and answer most questions easily. Only sometimes for the essay you might need to look back and for the Book 2 you should definately look back.
    2. How you are feeling about the E.L.A Exam
    on Monday & Tuesday (April 26 & 27) ?
Ummm... ms. Green is putting more pressure on me than my parents. she expects me to ace but a high 3 iz just enough for me. I just really want to get the States ELA and the math over with so then I can concentrate on more complicated test like the science state test, Earth science Regents, and the spanish profieciency. I'm not really worried about the Math Integrated algebra regent sim good with. That anyways going back on topic, I just want to get this test overwith.

You should have some sugarfree gum to keep you calm. DO NOT ask me and finish my whole pack in like 2 secs. Do not panic because it will just distract you. Make sure to take your time reading the passages. don't skim because then you'll have to look back oftenly, instead if you just read it once calmly going back to the senteces which you don't understand for that one time your reading. for the second book you should be looking back often, definately. GOOD LUCK!
    2. How you are feeling about the E.L.A Exam
    on Monday & Tuesday (April 26 & 27) ?
First, Ms. green is putting more pressure on me than my parents and a high 3 is fine with me. I just want to get over with this test, then the Math and continue preparing for more complicated tests like the spanish Profieciency, earth Science Regents, science State Test. i'm not worried about the Integrated algebra Regents,, and the social Studies exit exam as i am with the others. I'm more comfortable with the Integrated Algebra Regents and the State Test. Anyways, going back on track, I just want to get over with this test.
